She had been reframed using her original planking as the mold. We had cut external station molds every three feet, which had been attached to the superstructure seen surrounding Rosie in this photo.

Patterning for the new house…the house was challenging because the only straight line was how, in her profile view, the roof would parallel the waterline; also, the house sides mimicked the curvature of the hull at the sheer. Vertically, the house sides were slightly canted inboard so as not to look too boxy. Finally, her house top has her unmistakable roundness.
